Model builders at CRASH Air War and Resistance Museum ’40 – ’45
IPMS, the Plastic Model Building Club of the Netherlands, Region Noord-Holland will hold the traditional summer meeting ‘De Start’ on Saturday 25 August with a trunk sale of plastic modelling kits and models at the CRASH Air War and Resistance Museum ’40 -’45. This meeting for IPMS members is also open to the public from 11 am to 4 pm.
The Dutch branch of the International Plastic Modellers Society (IPMS) organizes several meetings each year, one of which is the summer meeting ‘The Start’ at the CRASH Air War and Resistance Museum ’40 -’45, which is the start of the model building season. For the Fort at Aalsmeer plastic modellers from all over the Netherlands open their trunks for interested club members, but information is exchanged with non club members as well. In the museum, the most beautiful models of the IPMS members are exhibited.
Access to the trunk sale in front of the the fort is free for visitors.
Access to the CRASH Museum is:
€ 3.50 for adults,
children from 6 to 12 pay € 1.50.
Donors of the museum, veterans and children up to 6 years of age have free admission.
